Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!!!  May this year be filled with Truth, Hope, Faith, and Love.  Remember to treat people kindly, and to always put God first in your hearts.

"Produce fruit in keeping with repentance."  Matthew 3:8

"So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.  For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature.  They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.  But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.  The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy, drunkenness, orgies, and the like.  I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the Kingdom of God.  But the Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.  Against such things there is no law.  Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with it's passions and desires.  Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.  Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other."  Galatians 5:16-26

I encourage you to read all of Galatians 5!

As Christians, our sinful nature and the Holy Spirit are in conflict with each other, so that we don't do what we want!  Like Paul said,

"We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin.  I do not understand what I do.  For what I want to do I do not do, but I hate what I do.  And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good.  As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.  I know what nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature.  For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.  For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do- this I keep on doing.  Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.  So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me.  For in my inner being I delight in God's Law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making ,e a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members.
What a wretched man that I am!  Who will rescue me from this body of death?  Thanks be to God, through Jesus Christ our Lord!  So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's Law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin."  Romans 7:14-25

Therefore...

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus, the Law of the Spirit of Life set me free from the law of sin and death.  For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by sinful nature, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering.  And so He condemned sin in sinful man, in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit."  Romans 8:1-4

Read all of Romans 8, as well!

Happy New Year, again!

Hello!

This is my first blog!  Wow!  2016 is really close!  I've wanted to do a blog for a long time, but I was most recently inspired by my friends Allison and Kaytie!  I'm a Christian, and I love God with all my heart.  I'm also homeschooled!  It's awesome!  I learn SO much, and I don't get bullied!  I have a amazing, loving Mom and Dad, who love me no matter what, who protect me, teach me school and about God, and how to treat people.  I have a kind little (Not so little anymore) brother named Joe, and a feisty little sister named Kat.  On my Mom's side, I have a wonderful Memommy and Meadaddy, who are also there to help me and love me unconditionally.  I also have a Grandpa and a Mimi, and we love each other too!  I have a G, (Great-Grandma) and a Pops who is in Heaven now.  Without them, our family wouldn't have been the same.  I have many cousins, and lots of aunts and uncles, who I love!  On my Dad's side, I have a Nana and a Papaw, who love me a lot!  I also have MANY cousins, aunts, and uncles.  Then there's my friends.  At church, there's Murissa, Michaela, and Madyson.  They are honestly some of my best friends, and we all know the Truth, and we have so much fun!  There's also Caleb and Aiden!  They are Joe's best friends!  Then there's Ty'essa!  She's related to Murissa, Michalea, and Madyson.  She's a Christian, awesome, and she's really funny.  There's also Skylar and Hunter.  They're brother and sister.  Skylar is really fun and nice!  Hunter's cool!  He likes Dr. Who, and can fold some mean origami!  Then there's my Grace friends!   (Grace is our homeschool co-op!) Besides Joe and Kat, Macy is my best friend!  She's funny, kind, and a Christian!  I have lots of best friends, because they're all amazing and very different!  Then there's Emily, who is a lot older than me, but we can really talk and have fun!  She's hilarious!  My other friends are Kaytie, Annalise, Brandi, Alex,  Ali, Sarah, Jordan, Allison, and a few more at Grace!  I also have some friends in Breckenridge!  Riley, Kole, and Nate.  They're really awesome, and we've been friends for a long time!  All my friends  make my day!  I love them all!  They're awesome.  I have had a LOT of cats before.  Fat Louie, Spock, Kiki, Saphie, and Calvin!  Calvin is an Orange tabby!  He likes to kill birds and rodents.  As for me, I enjoy reading, playing piano, drawing, writing, being outside, running, watching movies, going to church, hanging out with my friends (my family, really) singing, singing onstage at church with my mom and the worship team, being with my family and reading the Bible.  I have long blonde hair, freckles, Blue/Green/Gold eyes, and blue glasses.  That's about it!  Talk to you later!  Happily,

Nat
